Calcutta National Medical College (CNMC)
This is the first time that the General Secretary and President of the Ex-students association (NGO) joined our central co-ordination committee meeting held on the 1st of February, 2010 at the Dean's office at N.R.S Medical College. They have agreed to have full corporation for our activities. They received a cheque for Rupees 20.000 for the books for the medical students. They have been informed about the different journals being sent to the library for the last few years. Our appeal fund also donated rupees five thousand in support of the scientific seminar during the College reunion 2010.
Birendra and Suhasini Memorial

Birendra and Suhasini Memorial
Last year the annual lecture was held on the 19th September and was well attended by nurses. The department of nursing requested Maniki which was donated to them on the day. The approximate cost was being Rupees 22,000. This year's events held on the 20th of September as the 19th is on a Sunday. The nursing department requested an overhead projector this year, this as been handed over to the nursing department.

New Scholarship
The applications have been sent to the College Authority for approval of the new scholarship in C.N.M.C. for wish of Donor Dr. G.B.Chawdhury, Ex-students association are going to select the candidates. We are waiting for their response.
Hepatitis B Programme
One hundred Hep B injections will be given to nursing staff and medical students on a first come first serve basis.
